JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The R&D department is requiring an embedded software design engineer, in Madrid/Algete Headquarters, to take part in the design of its range of products, to solve digital control applications, x-ray generation, motorised movement control, systems integration, start-up and debugging of prototypes and the company's own designs, as well as rigorous document management and coordination with the group's companies in international projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Industrial Engineer/Telecommunications Degree, Master's Degree, Electronics branch.
  • Fluent oral and written English.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years' experience in software development on embedded platforms. Occasionally development of applications on PC in Windows environment.
  • Programming in C and C++, microcontrollers/DSPs/Drivers/Peripherals/Digital control/Hardware knowledge,
  • Programming in Eclipse, Visual Studio and Software lifecycle and change management tools will be an asset.
  • Experience with RTOS and/or Linux would be an asset.

DESIRABLE:

  • Teamwork, responsibility and discipline at work, communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • If you ever wondered how to contribute to others, here is your opportunity. Nowadays, X-rays are still used for many medical diagnosis. In SEDECAL, we design, develop, manufacture and sell X-ray devices worldwide. Our RD Department tries to facilitate operability and reduce error scenarios that impact in faster and better diagnosis. Software is focus on device programming: integration, operability and serviceability, and deals with electronics devices.
  • In SEDECAL .NET team, you will design, develop and test not just software, but ideas that contribute to better patient and operator experience in Xray rooms. Your role will be to support existing in-house developed applications in production and customer sites, assisted by other developers (Madrid and Italy). Also, for new coming requirements develop and test them. Another goal will be to facilitate installation process on field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, Advanced degree may be substituted for experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
  • In-depth experience in C#. NET-based application development.
  • Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Principles (OOPs).
  • Advance Installer.
  • Windows 10 configuration & setup.
  • Jenkins.
  • Version control (SVN).
  • Socket, TCP/IP Connections.
  • RS232 and CAN domain is a plus.
  • Knowledge in UML.
  • Knowledge about software architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong programming and analytical skills.
  • Strong experience in Code Quality, Unit Testing, Code Review, Defect Management and Debugging Skills.

DESIRABLE:

  • Having good communication skills across different project teams.
